Our global progress is made possible thanks to collective efforts across the Sucafina Group, from farming origins to the final product. This includes contributions from Sucafina Instant, whose teams drive sustainability through certified products and inclusive partnerships.

As part of the Sucafina Group, we are united by a clear purpose: creating opportunities to improve lives. This goal shapes how we operate, make decisions and build partnerships. For us, sustainability is more than a department – it’s a mindset embedded in everything we do.

Joseph Massoud, Managing Director of Sucafina Instant

Amid the unprecedented volatility that defined 2024, our commitment to Investing in Farmers, Caring for People and Protecting Our Planet remains strong and at the heart of our supply chains. We trained and certified over 200,000 farmers and, with Kahawatu Foundation, co-funded US $4.64m in projects to support farming communities. We developed our first Climate Action Plan – reaffirming our commitment to reducing our environmental impact – and strengthened our deforestation monitoring process as we prepare for EUDR compliance.

In 2024, IMPACT expanded to support over 54,000 farmers from 14 origins. By combining data insights with local collaboration, we’re building tailored projects that address real challenges, from boosting incomes in Colombia to reducing emissions in Vietnam and advancing agroforestry in Rwanda. All of this contributes directly to our five IMPACT Goals and a more resilient supply chain.

Sustainability at Sucafina isn’t just a ‘nice to have’, it’s a strategic imperative essential for supply chain resilience and long-term value creation. But we can’t do it alone. Now, more than ever, we need to work together to address the most pressing challenges facing our industry and build a more sustainable future for coffee.

Nicolas A. Tamari, CEO of Sucafina
