The demise of instant coffee has long been predicted in the UK, yet it remains the largest of all coffee categories. For every £10 spent on coffee in UK retail, £6 is spent on instant coffee, £2 on pods, £1.50 on ground coffee, and 50p on beans.* 

The resilience and continued popularity of instant coffee comes from it's convenience, speed, economy, and flexibility but it is also down to giant leaps in quality, which typically take place every 10–20 years.

Since the 1950s, instant coffee has sprung forward in ways that develop flavour and create an experience that is closer to that of roast and ground. First came spray-dried coffee powder, then granules, then freeze-dried coffee, and then, in 2009, Microground coffee arrived. Each successive development has raised the quality of instant coffee to new heights.

What is Sensoria by Buencafé?

It’s a coffee made with a new and innovative multistage process that captures natural flavours and aromas like never before. Early aroma recovery and dynamic extraction capture the intensity of roast and ground and the real taste of pure Colombian coffee. The coffee is an advanced freeze-dried coffee that tastes so good that is difficult to tell it apart from freshly brewed.

Sensoria by Buencafé combines the sensation of roast and ground with the convenience of instant. The quality of the green coffee is more pronounced and, like fresh coffee, the cup has a more complex consistency.
